Same 8 inch baluster shape as the cobalt check vase, painted in coral red instead. The grid is drawn in thin blue line first and the red squares are filled in after, so the blue holds the whole pattern together. Only the lip is cobalt.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the red the same on every vase?
No. Red pigment moves in the kiln, so one vase comes out coral and the next comes out closer to brick. Ask for a photo of the actual piece before we ship if the shade matters.
Does it hold water?
Yes, glazed inside and watertight.
Does it go with your blue pieces?
The cobalt lip and the blue grid tie it to the rest of the range, so it does not sit apart on a shelf of blue pottery.
Is there a matching piece?
The cobalt and white check vase is the same blank. Buy both if you want a pair that reads as a set.
