This mold-cast blue pottery lamp base is handcrafted in Multan, Pakistan using traditional ceramic techniques. The ceramic jar features hand-painted geometric and floral motifs in cobalt and sky blue tones, finished with a lead-free glaze and mounted on a wooden stand for stability.
A lampshade with 8-12 inch diameter works well with this base. The shade height should be roughly equal to or slightly less than the 10-inch base height for proper proportions.
This is a decorative ceramic base only. You'll need to add electrical components (cord, socket, switch) or have it professionally wired for use as a functioning lamp.
The wooden base provides excellent stability for the ceramic portion. The wide base and low center of gravity make it suitable for bedside tables, desks, and console tables.
While the lead-free glaze is durable, this lamp base is designed for indoor use. Extended outdoor exposure to weather may affect the wooden base and electrical components.
