This 6-inch canister jar has the same rounded lid and knob as our cobalt storage jars, but the pattern is different. Instead of an all-blue floral, the artisan painted a repeating leaf and petal trellis in cobalt blue, white and mustard yellow, wrapped around the body like a lattice. The lid carries a smaller version of the same pattern, topped with the same rounded blue knob you'll find across the Multani jar collection.

Does the lid keep the jar airtight?

Will the yellow in the pattern fade or rub off?
