This 8-inch vase shares the same bulbous body and flared mouth as our Cobalt Trellis vase, but the pattern is built differently. Instead of a repeating diagonal leaf, the artisan painted mirrored pairs of teardrop petals that meet in the center of each panel, shaded from pale blue at the edges to deep cobalt at the core, with small dot accents filling the gaps. A plain white collar sits below the solid blue flared rim.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can this vase hold fresh flowers and water?
Yes. The interior is fully glazed with a lead-free finish, so it holds water without leaking or staining.
Is the shading in the petals painted by hand or is it a printed effect?
Hand-painted. The artisan builds the pale-to-cobalt shade within each petal using multiple passes of the same pigment, so the gradient will vary slightly piece to piece.
Is the base stable enough for a full flower arrangement?
The 3.5-inch base holds a standard bunch fine, though for a heavy, top-heavy arrangement, place it against a wall or in the center of a table rather than near an edge.
Can I use this as a small planter instead of a vase?
You can, but there's no drainage hole. Either add one yourself or use it as a cachepot with the nursery pot sitting inside.
Handcrafted in Multan, Pakistan. Minor variations in color and pattern are natural features of authentic handmade work.
