A 9 inch serving bowl, 2.5 inches deep, with low straight sides. The outside is cobalt with big white damask leaves all the way round. Inside, a band of sky blue and white petals runs under the rim, and the rest is plain cream.
It is deep enough for kheer or a fruit chaat for the family, and wide enough that a salad does not pile up over the edge.
At 9 inches across and 2.5 inches deep it takes a family serving of kheer or salad, roughly enough for four to six.
Yes, the glaze is lead-free and the inside is fully glazed.
We do not recommend it. Warm the food first and then serve it in the bowl.
