An eight-sided jewelry box, 4.5 inches across, with a domed lid and a small knob on top. The body is solid cobalt with a row of white pointed arches running round all eight faces, and each arch has a white teardrop painted inside it. The lid carries a chain of white loops, so the top reads differently from the sides.
Inside it is plain cream and glazed. A small stud earring is easy to spot against it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What fits inside?
Rings, studs, hoops, hairpins and a fine chain or two. It is a small box, so a chunky watch or a stack of bangles will not go in.
Does the lid stay on?
It sits into the rim under its own weight and keeps dust out. It does not lock, so pick the box up from underneath, not by the knob.
Can I keep food in it?
Dry things like cloves or elaichi are fine. We would not use it for anything wet or oily.
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Close, but it is painted by hand. The arches sit a little differently on every box and the cobalt can come out a shade lighter or darker from one kiln batch to the next.
How is it packed?
Bubble wrap and a fitted carton. Photograph any damage the day it arrives and we replace it.
Handcrafted in Multan, Pakistan. Minor variations in color and pattern are natural features of authentic handmade work.
