A shouldered vase with a flared neck, 9 inches tall. Allah is written on one face and Muhammad on the other, in white over a yellow panel set into a wash of cobalt. The lettering is drawn freehand with a fine brush and outlined in dark blue so it holds its shape under the glaze.
It holds water without leaking, but the base is narrow at 3.5 inches and the vase is light, so a heavy fresh arrangement will tip it. Dry stems, pampas or a few single blooms suit it better.
